"...in portraying animals, I have nothing to teach her..."
- Sir Edwin Landseer, 1843
"One of the most popular illustrators in Victorian Britain"
Limited edition Giclee print produced from an original watercolour painting by artist Jemima Blackburn (ne Wedderburn). The term "Giclee print" connotes an elevation in printmaking technology. Images are generated from high resolution scans and printed with archival quality inks onto various substrates. The Giclee printing process provides substantially better colour accuracy than other earlier means of reproduction.
The limited edition (200) fine art prints are produced using the highest quality lightfast pigment inks on the finest grade neutral pH paper. Each print has been signed and numbered by Sir Robert Clerk owner of the painting.
Penicuik Curling Club offers a once in a lifetime opportunity to acquire a limited edition, collectable print of a historic watercolour painting by a renowned wildlife artist.
